KoH Virtual Servers, Inc., is a privately-held, family-owned-and-operated company based in Lacey, Washington (near Olympia) and the San Francisco Bay area. We have been in the Internet business since there was an Internet, and the PC business since the IBM model B.

We began building and using virtual servers several years ago, to support our corporate clients and our own needs. We have been through many phases of the development of VM software, and have built and tested many servers using many configurations of hardware and software, including Xen, KVM, VMware, Virtual Iron, and others. After many hours of benchmark testing, we settled on KVM as the best virtualzer, and our own custom-built hardware as the best platform. It proved to be an excellent decision, as KVM is now supported fully by Red Hat with kernel support for paravirtualized block IO and network drivers, blowing away all other virtualizers in our extensive benchmark tests.

We host our own website, management tools, e-mail server, mail-filtering system, and phone system on our own virtual servers. We also use our own servers for all of our clients, including mission-critical sites for our overseas clients. Not to mention all our friends and family -- you know how that goes!
